1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how the SidelineWealth™ platform at sidelinewealth.com (the "Platform") uses cookies and similar technologies, including browser local storage (collectively, "Cookies"). Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. What Cookies Are

2.1 "Cookies" are small text files or storage entries placed on your device that help a website function, remember preferences, and measure usage. We use both session Cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and persistent Cookies (which remain until they expire or are deleted).

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Essential Cookies. Strictly necessary to operate the Platform, including authentication and session management (set by our authentication provider), security, and core functionality. These cannot be disabled without impairing the Platform.

3.2 Functional Storage. We use browser local storage to remember preferences and settings you choose, including your selected language and, for Advisor Users, white-label branding details such as your firm name and logo, so they persist on your device.

3.3 Analytics. We use privacy-respecting Vercel Analytics to understand how the Platform is used (pages viewed, features used, performance) so we can improve it. We do not use analytics that build advertising profiles.

4. Third-Party Cookies

4.1 Certain Cookies are set by third parties that provide services on the Platform, namely Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention on checkout pages), governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies.

4.2 No advertising Cookies. We do not use advertising, marketing, retargeting, or cross-site behavioral-advertising Cookies, and we do not sell or share Cookie data for advertising.

5. Managing Cookies

5.1 You can control or delete Cookies and local storage through your browser settings; blocking Essential Cookies may break core functionality.

5.2 Because the Platform uses only essential, functional, and privacy-respecting analytics technologies — and no advertising or cross-site tracking — it does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. If we introduce non-essential technologies that require consent, we will present a consent mechanism and honor your choice.

6. Changes
